Planning a wedding is not at all easy and can be very stressful for both the couple and their families. Avoiding the pitfalls is a lot easier when we learn from those who’ve already been through the process, so who better to share their wedding stories (the ups and the downs) than the brides and grooms themselves?

I’ve added a new section to the weddings area of my main web site, where I selected 5 brides & grooms to share their stories to help others who might be planning a wedding. The first couple’s story is up on the site and the rest will be added very soon.

This is the first in a new series of acrylic paintings, exploring abstract and representational works of the sky and ocean in a very basic and loose form. This one is acrylic on stretched canvas, 16 x 20.

Here is my latest painting – “The Gift I” – the first in a new series of acrylic abstracts with hidden meanings. This one has a personal message written in runes hidden amongst another connotation made by the selection of colors.

Now that autumn is here, I thought it would be nice to post an image full of the fall colours.

This one was taken in October 2004 on the shores of Lake Vyrnwy, Wales, at around 6:45am – before sunrise.

The camera was a Nikon D100 with 24-85mm lens.

 

 

I just love the colours of the trees and the stillness of the reflection in the lake.
